About Chuka Beach
A forest department eco-camp on the sandy shore of the Sharda Sagar reservoir inside the tiger reserve, with Thai huts, tree houses and a watchtower over the water. The name is a bit much for a reservoir bank, but sunsets over the water with the sal forest behind are genuinely good, and tigers use the shore. Book well ahead for winter weekends.
