About Ghati Subramanya
A temple about 60 km north of Bengaluru where the idol of Subramanya faces east and Lakshmi Narasimha faces west on the same stone, seen through a mirror behind the deity. Families come to install naga stones and pray for children, and the temple compound is full of serpent images. A large cattle fair is held here in December or January around Pushya Shashti.
