About Garadia Mahadev
A cliff-edge Shiva temple about 25 kilometres from Kota where the Chambal makes a great horseshoe bend far below, the best single view of the river anywhere. It lies inside the Mukundara Hills reserve boundary, so there is a forest gate and a ticket. Monsoon and early winter, with the river full and the light low, are the times to come.
