About Bisrakh
A village now swallowed by Greater Noida West that claims to be the birthplace of Ravana, named for his father Vishrava. There is an old Shiva temple with a lingam said to have been worshipped by Ravana, and the village famously does not burn an effigy at Dussehra. Small, but a real oddity.
What to see and do
- Shiva temple linked to Ravana
- Village that skips Dussehra
- Old village lanes among the towers
