About Abbey Falls
Abbey Falls is a 70 foot fall on a stream that joins the Kaveri, about 8 km from Madikeri through coffee and pepper estates. A short paved path from the car park leads down to a hanging bridge that faces the falls; there is no access to the water and swimming is not allowed. The flow is heaviest in July and August and stays strong until December. Go early on weekends as the small car park and path get crowded by mid morning.
