About Yarada Beach
A beach hemmed in by hills on three sides, south of the Visakhapatnam harbour beyond Dolphin's Nose and the Gangavaram port. It is about 15 km from the city by a ghat road that gives views over the port and the ocean. The sand is clean and the crowd thin even on weekends, but the sea is rough and the currents strong, so stay out of deep water. The lighthouse on Dolphin's Nose is on the way.
