About Rushikonda Beach
A golden sand beach about 8 km north of Visakhapatnam on the Bheemili road, cleaner and calmer than RK Beach and one of the Blue Flag certified beaches in India. Water sports operators run jet skis and banana boats from the shore. The Thotlakonda Buddhist site is on the hill a few km further along the road. Swim only in the marked area and watch the currents.
