About Tso Moriri
A high altitude lake at 4,522 metres in the Changthang plateau, a Ramsar wetland and breeding ground of the bar headed goose and black necked crane. The village of Korzok on its shore has a monastery and simple homestays. The lake is calm and almost empty of people. A permit is needed.
