About Thrizino and Buragaon
The main Aka (Hrusso) settlement, reached by a rough road from Bhalukpong or Tippi, with Buragaon and Jamiri nearby. The Aka were once the toll-taking power on the old trade route towards Bhutan, and the villages keep their bamboo houses and the Nyethidow festival, the big annual gathering. There is a government rest house and little else. Go with a local contact.
