About Nafra
A circle town in the Bichom valley, the biggest settlement in the new district and the only place with a weekly market and a few shops. Bugun and Aka villages sit on the slopes around it, and the Bichom river runs below. The road in from the Bomdila side is slow. Nothing to see in the usual sense; it is a base for walking to the villages.
What to see and do
- The Bichom river below the town
- Weekly market
- Bugun and Aka villages on the slopes
- Base for village walks
Part of The Himalaya.
