About Tezu
The headquarters of Lohit district, a spread-out plains town under the hills a couple of hours from Tinsukia by road or a short hop by the Alliance Air flight when it runs. The district museum has Mishmi and Khamti textiles and weapons; the botanical garden on the edge of town is a shaded walk. It is the base for Parshuram Kund, Wakro, the Kamlang forests and the long road to Anjaw.
