About Siaha
Headquarters of the Mara Autonomous District Council and the southernmost town of any size in Mizoram, around 380 kilometres and two days from Aizawl. The Mara speak their own language, are largely Evangelical rather than Presbyterian or Baptist, and the town feels a step further from the north than Lunglei does. It is the base for Palak Dil and the villages down toward the Kolodyne and Myanmar.
What to see and do
- Mara Autonomous District Council
- Mara Evangelical Church and the town churches
- Base for Palak Dil and the far south
