About Kolodyne (Chhimtuipui) valley
The biggest river in Mizoram, Chhimtuipui to the Mizos and Kolodyne or Kaladan on the maps, forming the Myanmar border along part of its course before running south to Sittwe. From Siaha the road drops into its valley, hot and wide, with bamboo rafts and a few villages by the water. The Kaladan project to link Mizoram to the Myanmar coast follows it.
