About Shringi Rishi Dham, Kajra
A hermitage in the wooded hills south of Kajra, on the Lakhisarai-Jamalpur line, tied to the sage Shringi, whom north Bihar tradition places in this belt as well as at Singheshwar. A path climbs from the village to the temple and a kund among rocks; Shravan and Shivratri bring pilgrims, and the rest of the year it is a quiet walk into the hills. Take water and go early.
