About Shahi Jama Masjid Sambhal
One of the three mosques built under Babur in 1526, on a mound in the old town, and an ASI-protected monument. It has been at the centre of a court dispute since a 2024 survey, and the area saw violence that November, so entry for outsiders can be restricted and police presence is heavy. Go with a local, ask first, and keep it brief.
