About Kalki Dham
The Puranas name Sambhal as the birthplace of Kalki, the tenth avatar of Vishnu still to come, and this large temple to him had its foundation laid in February 2024. Building is under way and will take years; the plan is a pink sandstone shikhara with ten shrines for the ten avatars. You can visit the site and the existing shrine, and see the work.
