About Sahastradhara

A limestone gorge about 15 km from Dehradun where cave water drips and a stream falls over rocks, with sulphur springs said to have healing qualities. The water is shallow in summer and good for wading, and a ropeway goes up to a ridge view. In the monsoon the stream can rise suddenly, so avoid it in heavy rain.
