About Rampura Fort
A 16th century fort of the Sengar Rajputs of Rampura, still lived in by the family and run as a heritage stay since the 2000s. It sits in the ravine country where the Pahuj meets the Yamuna, an hour from Kalpi, and the point is quiet: village walks, birdlife on the river and the family history in the rooms.
