About Perupalem Beach
Perupalem is the main beach of West Godavari district, about 20 km from Narsapur and 35 km from Bhimavaram through Mogalthur. It is a wide flat beach backed by casuarina plantations and small fishing hamlets, busy on weekends and New Year but empty on weekdays. The state has added a basic beach front with parking and food stalls. Currents are strong, so wading rather than swimming is the safe choice.
