About Peb Fort (Vikatgad)
Also called Vikatgad, this is the back-door route into Matheran, a confusing maze of trails, one ladder section and a cave temple partway up. Easy to get lost on, so most groups take someone who has done it before.
What to see and do
- Cave temple partway up the climb
- Ladder and short rock section
- Back-door entry into Matheran
- Views over Neral and the Matheran ridge
