About Netarhat
A quiet hill station on the Chotanagpur plateau at around 1,100 metres, about 155 km from Ranchi, called the Queen of Chotanagpur. The sunrise point and the Magnolia Point at sunset are the main viewpoints, and the pine and sal woods are cool even in summer. The town is small and calm, with a few guest houses and the well known residential school. Plan a night here, as the long drive makes a day trip tiring.
