About Lodh Falls (Burha Ghagh)

The highest waterfall in Jharkhand, with a drop of around 140 metres, where the Burha river plunges into a deep gorge in Latehar district. It is reached from Netarhat or Mahuadanr by road and then a rough forest path. The flow is at its best from August to November. The area is remote and the road bad in the rains, so ask locally about conditions before you go and do not go alone.
