About Narasimha Konda
Narasimha Konda, also called Vedagiri, is a hill temple of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy 15 km from Nellore near the Pennar river. A ghat road and steps lead up to the shrine, which is one of the older Vaishnava sites of the district. The Jonnawada Kamakshi temple is a few kilometres away and the two are visited together. The Brahmotsavam in May is the busiest time. The hilltop gives a wide view over the Pennar and the paddy country around Nellore.
