About Nandankanan Zoological Park

A zoo and botanical garden set in a forest of Chandaka by Kanjia lake, about 20 km from Bhubaneswar. It is known for its white tigers, and has lion and tiger safari drives, a ropeway across the lake, a reptile park and a good gharial enclosure. Closed on Mondays. Go on a weekday morning in winter, as it is crowded on holidays and hot by noon in summer.
