About Musakhand Dam
An irrigation dam on the Karmanasa below the Vindhyan hills, with a long earthen bund you can walk and a reservoir that fills by September and draws waterfowl in winter. There is nothing here but the water, the hills behind and a few tea stalls, which is the appeal. Locals come for sunset. Easy to add to a Rajdari day.
What to see and do
- Walk along the bund
- Sunset over the reservoir
- Winter waterfowl
- Vindhyan hills as backdrop
