About Meghna Cave Temple
A Shiva shrine in a natural cave on a hill above Hapoli, a 10 minute walk up from the road, which local belief puts at some 5000 years old. Whatever its age, the setting is the point: pine and bamboo, a view over the town, and a small shrine looked after by a priest. Popular with the Hindu settlers of Hapoli on Mondays and at Shivratri.
