About Maredumilli
A forest area of the Eastern Ghats about 80 km from Rajamahendravaram, run as community eco tourism by the forest department with local tribal groups. The draws are the Jalatarangini and Amruthadhara waterfalls, the Jungle Star camp beside the Valamuru stream, and bamboo chicken cooked at roadside stalls. Rampa waterfalls at Rampachodavaram are on the way. The falls run fullest from August to December.
