About Kursela, Kosi-Ganga Confluence
Near Kursela the Kosi finally gives itself up to the Ganga, and the confluence is a huge open sheet of water and sand. The NH31 bridge over the Kosi gives a good view, and the sangam itself is a boat ride from the village ghats. It is a place for river watching and a Chhath morning, not a monument. Sandbanks shift and the current is strong; stay with local boatmen.
