About Katihar Kali Bari
Katihar grew as a railway junction with a large Bengali community, and the Kali Bari is its oldest living temple. The town does Durga Puja and Kali Puja in the Bengal style, with big pandals and immersion processions, and that week is the best reason to be here. Otherwise it is a working temple in a busy railway town.
