About Kabu and Darka villages
Kabu and Darka are two of the Galo villages within an easy drive of Aalo, with traditional bamboo and cane houses raised on stilts, granaries set apart from the homes, and mithun grazing on the edges. There is nothing staged; ask before you walk in and someone will usually show you round. Mopin on 5 April is the one day the villages fill with visitors.
