About Dindi Backwaters
Dindi sits on the Vasishta branch of the Godavari near its mouth, in the coconut country of Konaseema. It is the closest Andhra comes to the Kerala backwaters, with houseboats from APTDC and private resorts on the river bank, and quiet canals lined with palms. Most visitors stay a night, take a boat towards Antarvedi and eat Konaseema food. Reach it by road from Rajamahendravaram or Narsapur, about 2 hours from either.
