About Cubbon Park
A 300 acre public park in the heart of Bengaluru, created in 1870 and now the lungs of the central business district. Its tree lined avenues, bamboo groves and lawns are full of walkers and cyclists at dawn, and the red Attara Kacheri high court building and the Vidhana Soudha stand along its edge. The Government Museum and the Visvesvaraya technological museum are inside its boundary. Roads inside the park are closed to traffic on Sundays and public holidays.
