About Bhandarej
An old town off the Jaipur-Agra highway near Dausa, once the seat of a Kachwaha thikana. The Bhadrawati Palace is now a heritage hotel, and the large stepwell on the edge of the village, several storeys of arcaded galleries, is the reason to stop. Combine it with Abhaneri, which is about 40 km east.
