About Baneshwar Dham
A Shiva shrine on a delta where the Som, Mahi and Jakham meet, with a swayambhu lingam split into five pieces, and a Vishnu temple of 1793 built by the saint Mavji. Most of the year it is quiet. For five days around Magh Purnima in late January or February it becomes the Baneshwar fair, the largest tribal gathering in Rajasthan, with Bhil families camping on the sands for the holy dip, immersion of ashes, rasleela and a cattle market.

- The Baneshwar fair at Magh Purnima
- The five-part swayambhu lingam
