About Bakhorapur Kali Mandir
A Kali temple in a village near Bihiya that has grown, over the last few decades, into one of the major goddess shrines of the Bhojpur countryside, with a tall Kali image and a large fair. Navratri and the Kali Puja that follows are the peak, and the fair runs for days with a rural market attached. It is not old or architecturally notable; it matters because tens of thousands of people in Bhojpur go there.
What to see and do
- Tall Kali image
- Navratri and Kali Puja fair
- Rural mela and market
