About Tosamaidan
A large high meadow that is a hidden gem in the Pir Panjal, with ancient grassland, streams and wide views of the mountains. Local people graze animals here in summer, and a few visitors camp. The road is rough and it is not on most itineraries, so a local guide helps. It is one of the best places for quiet camping near Srinagar.
