About Doodhpathri
The Valley of Milk, a meadow of pine and fir above Budgam, with a stream that looks milky as it falls over rocks. Ponies are available to walk the meadow, and a few small cafes serve hot tea. It is quiet, green and good for families, and is open from spring to early winter. Snow closes the road in winter.
