About Tigri Ganga Mela
A Ganga-side village in Hasanpur tehsil where a week-long Kartik Purnima fair fills the river sands with tents, bullock carts and lakhs of bathers. The district runs it as a state fair with a circus, wrestling and a livestock market. Outside the fair it is just a broad, empty stretch of river.
