About Dargah of Shah Vilayat
The shrine of Sharfuddin Shah Vilayat, a 13th-century Sufi who settled in Amroha, and the reason for the town-wide belief that scorpions here do not sting. Scorpions are kept at the dargah and handled at the urs. The old town of Amroha around it is a dense place of havelis, mango orchards and the dhol makers the town is known for.
