About Tiger Hill, Drass
The peak, about 5,000 metres high, that was recaptured in the Kargil War of 1999, a well known landmark that can be seen from the Drass war memorial. Visitors cannot climb it without the permission of the Army, but the view from Drass is enough. A good vantage is the memorial itself.
