About Sheikhpura Pahari
A line of low granite hills and boulder outcrops runs along the south of Sheikhpura town, the tail end of the same rock that makes Rajgir and Barabar. Much of it has been quarried, but the unquarried stretches are a place for a sunset walk and a picnic, and small shrines sit among the boulders. This is a district with three real places, and this is the third: honest, local and quiet.
What to see and do
- Granite boulder outcrops on the town edge
