About Renuka Lake
The largest natural lake of Himachal, shaped like the form of the goddess Renuka, mother of the sage Parshuram, with a temple on its bank. It has a lion safari, a small zoo, boating and a circular walk around the lake. The Renuka Fair held in November, around Dev Prabodhini Ekadashi, is the biggest event of Sirmaur.
