About Rajrappa Chhinnamasta Temple
A well known temple of Maa Chhinnamasta, at the meeting of the Bhairavi and Damodar rivers, close to Ramgarh. It is among the important Tantric shrines in eastern India, and the setting by the river is quiet. A big fair is held on Makar Sankranti, and Tuesdays and Saturdays are busy. Dress modestly and go early.
