About Patratu Valley and Dam
A winding road through green hills down to the Patratu reservoir, about 40 km from Ranchi, now one of the favourite short drives of the city. The road has many bends, viewpoints and a calm lake at the end where boating is possible. Go in the morning or on a weekday, as holidays get busy. Drive carefully on the curves.
