About Pong Dam Wetland
A large reservoir on the Beas, also called Maharana Pratap Sagar, which is a Ramsar wetland and attracts more than 100,000 migratory birds in winter, including bar headed geese, pintails and coots. Boating and bird watching tours run from the forest department.
