About Murho, B. P. Mandal Village
Murho is the estate village of Bindheshwari Prasad Mandal, briefly Chief Minister of Bihar in 1968 and chairman of the Mandal Commission whose 1980 report reshaped reservation in India. His samadhi and the old estate house are here, a short drive from Madhepura. There is little else, but for anyone interested in modern Indian politics it is an honest stop.
