About Mipi
The last road-head village up the Dri valley from Anini, an Idu Mishmi settlement close to the border with an army post and a permit check. The road is rough and the last stretch is often a jeep track. Beyond it the trekking routes go up towards the high passes. There is nothing to stay in; this is a day trip from Anini for the view and the river.
