About Masroor Rock Cut Temples

A group of 15 monolithic rock cut temples in the Indo Aryan style, cut from a single sandstone hill, dating to the 8th century. They are called the Ellora of Himachal, and a pool in front reflects the temples and the Dhauladhar behind them. Many are damaged by earthquakes, but the carvings remain impressive.
