About Lodheshwar Mahadev
A Shiva temple at Mahadeva village near Ramnagar, with a linga that local tradition ties to the Pandavas and their exile. It is the biggest Shaiva pilgrimage in the district: Sawan Mondays and Phalgun Shivratri bring Kanwar carriers by the lakh from the Ghaghra, and a large fair runs around Kartik Purnima.
What to see and do
- The Lodheshwar linga
- Kanwar Yatra in Sawan
- Shivratri and Kartik Purnima fairs
