About Kunjapuri Devi Temple
A hilltop temple to the goddess about 25 km from Rishikesh, counted among the Shakti Peethas, with a wide view of the Himalayan peaks at sunrise. The road to the top is narrow, with a short climb of some steps from the parking. Most people come in the early morning for the sunrise and the view of the Gangotri and Banderpunch peaks. It gets cold and windy, and it is busy at Navaratri.
